An Evening With Donald Kempinski
When newly blind (and in denial) widower, ‘Donald Kempinski’ finds himself lost in Brooklyn without his trusted “seeing cane”. 27 year-old pregnant nursing student, ‘Sarah’ steps in to help. The two, both in need of the other without knowing it, find themselves sucked into a wild night of bar crawls, boat rides, breakdancing, and blow. While Sarah wrestles with keeping her bi-racial baby, and Donald struggles to look past his own blindness, they guide each other like “angels” through their own torment.
